
Anxiety is a natural part of life. Perhaps we're anxious about an upcoming test or presentation at work. However, sometimes that anxiety becomes too loud to be functional. Anxiety disorders are conditions characterized by worry that is excessive, persistent, and disproportionate, contributing to significant dysfunction and/or distress. Anxiety is typically conceptualized from three domains: cognitive, behavioral, and physiological. I am skilled in navigating these domains with clients and using target intervention in order to alleviate anxiety.
